How to reach Nainital District: There are no direct trains or flight to Nainital. This means that the only way to reach Nainital is by road. Therefore, Nainital is a perfect destination for a road trip with friends or family.

However, in case you don’t prefer long car journeys. The nearest train station is Kathgodam Railway Station. It is 36 kms from Nainital.

The Best Time to visit Nainital: Usually, people escape the summer and visit Nainital between March and June. However, snow lovers should visit between October and December.

I suggest 2-3 days are sufficient to visit Nainital and other places near Nainital.
